DMT Workshop on the Responsibilities of a Contract Administrator with the Participation of Dr. Mohamed Haitham Salman

Dr. Mohamed Haitham Salman, Legal Consultant, and Managing Partner conducted a training workshop on the “Responsibilities of Contract Administrator” which occurred on Thursday, November 16, 2023, from 09:00 am to 1:00 pm, at the Training and Development Centre on Al Reem Island, Abu Dhabi.

 

The workshop was tailored for Contract Management Officials in DMT & Sub Entities with the presence of the esteemed presenters: Consultant Mohammed Aljaberi, Legal Affairs Division Manager at Al Ain City Municipality; Consultant Mohammed Alharith, Legal Affairs Division Manager at Abu Dhabi City Municipality; and Mr. Mohammed Al Falahi from the Procurement Division.

 

The workshop covered various topics, including the definition of a Contract Administrator according to Purchases, Tenders, and Auctions Manuals and Guide, as well as the definition of contract management. Requirements for Contract Administrators, their responsibilities during the contract period, mistakes to be avoided, and duties when dealing with contract closing procedures were also discussed.
