Attending PhD at Eton University (USA), with a Master’s Degree from Padova University (Italy), a Political Science Diploma from the American University in Cairo, and an LLB from Cairo University (English Department).

With over 13 years of legal experience, Mr. Karim has advised clients in the UAE and Egypt as Head of Legal, Legal Counsel, and Attorney across leading law firms and consultancies. He has extensive expertise in maritime and shipping, oil & gas, construction, and commercial matters, regularly handling complex disputes, arbitration, and cross-border transactions. His practice includes drafting and negotiating high-value contracts (including charterparty, construction, and FIDIC contracts), leading case management and litigation, and guiding clients on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, KYC/AML, and data privacy. Mr. Karim also has significant experience in intellectual property matters and has authored key maritime reports for international and national entities.
