Future Entrepreneurs Permit

 

The Abu Dhabi Registration and Licensing Authority (ADRA), in collaboration with the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood (SCMC), has launched the Future Entrepreneurs Permit. This initiative is designed to empower children aged 4 to 18 with entrepreneurial skills, financial literacy, and innovation tools, fostering their growth within Abu Dhabi’s business ecosystem.

 

Key Benefits:

1.Gain hands-on entrepreneurial experience.

2.Participate in exhibitions and events across Abu Dhabi.

3.Explore a variety of business activities, including crafts, retail, and food-related ventures.

 

Eligible Business Activities:

1.Creative Projects – Handicrafts, design services, calligraphy, drawing.

2.Retail Ventures – Selling handmade jewelry, gifts, perfumes, frames, and paintings.

3.Food Businesses – Retail sale of ice cream, dates, confectionery, beverages, spices, and fresh produce. Note: Food activities require approval from the Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority (ADAFSA).

 

Permit Fees:

1.AED 100 for non-food activities.

2.AED 300 for food-related activities (includes ADAFSA approval fees).

 

Permit Duration:

Valid for 30 days. Can be extended for up to one year, with an additional fee per month based on the activity type.

 

Application Process:

1.A parent or legal guardian must visit the Ma’ak Service on TAMM to schedule a consultation.

2.Complete the form with details of the young entrepreneur and chosen activities.

3.Select “Economic Licenses” and choose “Future Entrepreneur Permit” from the service list.

4.Choose a preferred communication method (in-person, virtual, phone, or email).
