Understanding Employees’ Rights and Employers’ Obligations under Federal Decree-Law No. (33) of 2021
Dr. Mohamed Haitham Salman has recently conducted an engaging workshop titled “Employees’ Rights and Obligations under the UAE Labour Law”, in line with Federal Decree-Law No. (33) of 2021, presented to the Department of Education and Knowledge.
The session offered a clear and practical overview of the legal framework governing employment relationships in the private sector UAE, with a focus on employees’ rights, employers’ obligations, working hours, leave entitlements, end-of-service benefits, and dispute resolution mechanisms.
The workshop aimed to promote legal awareness, encourage compliance, and support the development of fair, balanced, and sustainable work environments in line with the UAE’s evolving labour legislation.
